Beautiful museum. So much to see and do to interact with the aquatic life. Worth the visit. The bathrooms were hard to find. Also there was nothing that you could eat there as the snack bar was closed. The vending machines also did not work so it’s not a place to visit if you’re hungry. One of the highlights of our visit was touching the fish.

Good selection of fish. Good selection of jelly fish. Good fish petting area. What more do you want out of an aquarium? I tell you what. You want a very good selection of fish. A very good selection of jelly fish. A very good fish petting area.

Let's be real: in a city so full of museums, monuments and historical places like Paris an aquarium is a priority. That's not to say the place is in bad shape or anything but rather that it's really basic and, outside of the jellyfish exhibition it doesn't have too much to brag about. Still, if you're like me and enjoy Aquariums you will smile still

Lovely aquarium. They also have a mermaid who appears in the large tanks and swims with the Sharks during popular time. Might want to call and inquire about the time this happens if you are interested

Overall impression: almost very well done but failing in the details. The overall walkway is nice starting from the Seine then moving towards the different seas. The shark and jellyfish basins are quite impressive. The touch-the-fish pool was the biggest hit with the kids. We saw one info show on sharks which was very informative. What is missing are good information panels elsewhere. The info LCDs are hung at adult height and change content every few minutes. It's very hard to learn something beyond just the name of an animal that way. Also when a place charges 20€ entrance for adults and 13€ for even young kids, I expect a bathroom where toilet paper and soap holders aren't attached to the wall with duct tape and I expect at least one sink at a usable height for smaller children.
