Sumendu Lake is the main attraction of Mirik. The lake is surrounded by garden on one side and pine trees on the other connected by an arch footbridge called Indreni Pull. A pleasant 3 and a half km long path winds around the lake. The depth of water varies from 3 feet to 25 feet.

Hugely appreciated....the place have been decorated well with beautiful different flowers... gardening is done properly... The best part is you can have a beautiful view from the lake while you are boating... A beautiful place for family gathering... A floating market is also available there with different varieties of products available out there

Mirik Lake is where people come to enjoy the view of nearby monasteries amidst the greenery. Horse Riding and paddle boating are the only 2 events that are done here. More adventure activities like Zip Line/Flying Fox also can be introduced which will create more revenue for the locals too.

A big lake with its scenic view and forest attract the tourists. There is one park with the lake. People can enjoy boat riding in the lake. The clean and green surrounding is very nice. But some people litter the jungle path which is very disgusting.

Amazing lake and good tourist activities in the lake it was mighty experience to visiting Mirik lake. But the local were playing the cash games that is very bad effects on the tourist, if any tourist play it then he lost his money totally and it may give biggest bad experience to the tourist. So please don't promote such people and try to remove such kind activities in a such wonderful tourist places.

Good place for sightseeing. It has got boating and horse riding facilities. You can buy winter wear clothes . Parking will be a issue in peak tourist time.
