Description
La Bouchon Beach is located in the southeast part of Mauritius. Although located only a few kilometres from SSR International Airport, La Bouchon Beach is probably one of the least visited beaches in Mauritius – considering its size. Cross the inland side of the foot of Le Bouchon sugar fields, or for more adventure (and fun!) head for the black rock passage near the coast, and you’ll eventually end up at Le Bouchon public beach. An inexperienced beach trekker should expect at least a good 2 hour trek from La Cambuse to Le Bouchon, and longer if you opt for the rocks along the water. This natural treasure is one of the last unspoiled beaches left.

Very calm and quite beach. This place is off the tourist grid.Good place to relax and have picnic with family and friends. Good for children to play in water as it's not deep. Come prepared with food and drinks.

Exclusive beach...not crowded at all during weekdays. Avoid going there on Fridays, as I am there.
