One of the most lively and colourful places in Mauritius. Located at the heart of the city, very close to busy district of port Louis. The colourful umbrellas add a lot of vibrancy to the atmosphere. Plethora of eating and shopping options around in here. It's a must visit when in Mauritius. You would also find good souvenirs here in the art village.

I like the Waterfront for its food court and variety of shops. The craft market offers a variety of uniquely Mauritian products. For a foreigner working or visiting Mauritius it is a good stop for a variety of cuisine, shopping experience and cinemas. It does get quite busy at certain times and some things are quite expensive in the Waterfront. So keep in mind when visiting.

Beautiful place to visit. Has everything of interest from beautiful waterfront views to beautiful scenery to variety of clothing shops, to variety of cafes/eatries to good music from the massive outdoor speakers to............... There is one thing or the other to keep you occupied. Good if you want to treat yourself out, a loved one or family.

This market is definitely very vibrant and full of life. You definitely have plenty of places to eat and relax. You can easily spend a few hours just chilling. You can also visit other places in Port Louis on foot like the museum, monuments, central market. This place also gives you a beautiful view of the port. Definitely a place to take lot of pics
