Good place for tourists. Nicely maintained. Things are somewhat costly but worth for visit. Great views.

History and Art of Mauritius. You can see very first post stamp of the world, originated 1840s. Also great examples of first world maps based on sailors and explorers.

You can spend quite a bit of time in here if you read all of the boards and information - there's a lot! It's very interesting and there are a few artifacts to look at, however If that's not your thing or you have small children then I'd probably give it a miss. The museum is quite small and I think the price is quite high for the size/content. You can't take pictures once inside either. See previously answered questions for entry prices.
