Chalal – A quaint village snuggling peacefully in the lap of Parvati Valley! Well, we all have been to the Mini Israel of India but only a few have witnessed the unadulterated beauty of Kasol. Chalal is one such raw gem that rests besides the roaring Parvati river in Kasol. A village that hasn’t lost its rustic beauty to tourism, Chalal village in Kasol is bound to satiate your wanderlust. Chalal trek trail is a little treacherous but worth all the pain. While walking on the narrow trails, you can witness the Parvati river roaring through the incessant gorge. The thunderous sounds of the river Parvati add a dose of rejuvenation while you walk past the dense forest. The best part about the Chalal Trek trail is that you can enjoy the finest Israeli food with a view.

Loved the place. Trekking alongside Parvati river covered under the canopies of huge trees was fun.

The path and trails that they have kept is so natural which is really good. The nature is well preserved where we can take a small trek. I geared up for a big trek but this is a very light trail half an hour from kasol.
