This monastery, amongst the most popular tourist places in Manali, is an important seat of the Buddhist faith visited by people from as far as Nepal and Tibet. Built-in the 1960s by Tibetan refugees, it is famous for its beige and rust architecture frilled by bright golden colour. Visit the shrine dedicated to Lord Buddha and see the murals and carvings showcasing his life and teachings. Meeting the friendly monks, meditating and indulging in spiritual discourses further enhances the tranquil experience.

Clean and nice place . You will find peace here. Also if you are not buddisht then prayer wheels and everything will be new to you so you will definitely enjoy it. You can reach to this monastery in manali by walk in maximum 10 minutes from the Manali mall market.

Buddhist Monastery is famous for his beauty and peaceful environment. It is one of the famous monasteries situated in north India. Everything is free in this place to expect photography, if you wanna click the photos in the monasteries you have to pay 20 Rupees.

This Buddhist monastery is just near to Mall Market of Manali. Extremely nice to view. There are lot of street foods just around the monastery.

Manali has several colorful monasteries that represent the rich culture and history of the Tibetan people settled in Manali. These monasteries are surrounded by several small shops selling beautiful handicrafts and carpets, made by Tibetan people living nearby these monasteries.
