Located at a distance of 6 kms from Mahabaleshwar, the Lingmala Waterfall can be reached via the Mahabaleshwar-Pune road. The forest bungalow of Lingmala is situated near the falls. The water here launches from a height of approximately 600 feet. The best time to visit Lingmala falls is between July and December.The clear water of Lingmala waterfalls cascades into the Venna Lake during monsoon season. Ordinarily the water is divided by projecting rocks which are approximately one third of the way down into thin silver streaks. Lingmala Waterfalls are visited by thousands of local folks as well as tourists every year. Tourists admire the beauty of the falls. The majestic Dhobi Waterfall and Chinaman’s waterfall are situated near the Lingmala waterfalls. A true form of natural beauty can be seen here as the falls are surrounded by lush green and vegetation cover. A must see place for nirvana seekers, nature lovers and photographers. It serves as a great spot for picnic with friends and family because of its natural beauty and ecstatic location.

This place is under control of forest department and does not have any facility of food inside. Nice place to hangout with family and one carry food inside to eat under the open sky; along with cool breezes from plenty of trees around! Monsoon season is better for enjoying greenery! Weekends are crowded. Ample Parking space available.

A good amount of hike to the top most points. Better view in rainy season. Not recommended in winter and no water in summer.

Beautiful waterfall. The short walk through the forest to reach the waterfall point is also nice.

Great beuty of nature. Must visit place in Mahabaleshwar. It takes some time to reach viewing point of waterfall. But it's worth to take that hike. Bring a day hike bag with yourself. Carry water with you.
