Spent 2 days with Apoorva and his family at Happy Home. It was really very nice stay. This place is old structure home converted into hotel. We were here for authentic home food they famous for and we just loved the food. Guys..If you go Mahabaleshawar don't miss it.

Undoubtedly, one of the favorite cottage home stay ,I stayed in Mahabaleshwar! On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and owner himself . The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (I truly appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. They are specialised in seafood but their food in general is mouth watering. The taste of each cuisine is unmatched. The second day we did a trekking which was guided by their staff trek incharge, who works as a waiter in the hotel as well. He was such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking the three of us through the village. The scenery was breath-taking and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Inspite of not being a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere here is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the Owner Apurva Kothari who does a great job here; a true example of Amazing hospitality!

Its located near old mahabaleshwar shiv temple. Location is pretty nice with garden and a swing. We visited only for lunch and not to stay. You need to place order in the morning. We ordered prawns curry chicken gravy surati fry and bhakti and rice. Food was average but overpriced. It the fish was so overpriced and then you can not enjoy the taste as it was with no salt less masala. The curry too was watery and not what we ordered. If you go there please make sure to give instructions before they start preparing your food.
