The Visapur Fort is a popular hill fort near Visapur village located close to Lonavala. Also called Visapoor Fort, it is a popular weekend getaway from Pune and Mumbai. The majestic fort is a very popular destination for a trek. The climb to the Visapur Fort is rocky but welcoming. Starting at Bhaje village, it is about 2.5 to 3 hours long each way and ends at the height of 3556 feet.The fort stands at the height of 1084 meters above sea level offering panoramic view hills covered in a thick blanket of green. Monsoons are definitely the best time to visit Visapur Fort - the greenery, brimming waterfalls, and the beautiful fog. This massive fort was built as a twin of the famous Lohagad fort, but at a higher elevation and covering a larger surface area.

A great historic place to visit. Rope way is not available here. Built quality of fort is good. It is also good place to spend weekend time with family. It is best fort for tracking . It is nice fort in maharashtra.Nice experience in rains. It requires 2 hours for tracking.

The ghats are pretty challenging to drive since some parts of the road isn't good. Make sure your vehicle is in the good condition before going. And don't forget keep some food and water with you since there are not many stalls where you can buy. It's adventurous to climb the fort of course. View is beautiful and calming, there are lots flowers usually so good place to click quality photos.

Nice place to visit. Adventure's place go with friends or family mostly visit in rainy season the fort are in very larger area from top of the fort you will get best view never seen.also raining steps which you can see only in rainy season transport not available easily so go with own vehicle

Awesome Place to hangout. Cool breezes makes you to feel better. We have do trek for about half an hour and steps are damaged. Camping can also be done. Prefer to come through lohagad fort route, as it is convenient to ride.

It's a hard trek for beginners. Takes almost 2 hours to reach destination. Enjoyed beauty of nature
