Tungarli Lake is a scenic spot not too far away from the city centre of Lonavala. It is a beautiful lake which once served as a major source of water for the nearby areas. The lake also has a dam which was built during the British era. This is one of the ideal places to visit in Lonavala if you are looking for some peace and quiet amidst beautiful surroundings. There are many activities you can enjoy around Tungarli Lake as well. It is a great picnic spot and also offers opportunities for hiking and camping around the area. During the rainy season, the lake is brimming with water and it serves as a perfect backdrop for some amazing photography.
