Our stay at The Machan was an excellent break. We stayed in the cabin on the ground and the views and sound from the cabin were splendid specially at night, it gives you the feeling as if you're sleeping in a jungle. Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the machan, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service. The Buffet has a great variety of food choices. The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. There were activities like nature trail, yoga sessions and wild life documentary which gave us opportunities to learn more about nature . A wonderful mini-vacation!

Really nice place but too isolated. It would have been fine if there were something to do in the resort. Should work on resort activities. The food is good, not great. Should try the hike behind the resort.

Wonderful resort for complete getaway into nature. Nice machans. Amazing scenic view. Little on the expensive side though.

Property and location is good but the management and the room service is THE WORST!!! You order anything or ask for anything, first thing they will tell you is you will be charged X amount + taxes. Even if ask for a tea, they will repeat the same thing. Also they try to avoid room service by suggesting breakfast / lunch / dinner timings. Too much hammering of the prices and taxes you have to pay for anything. Also, DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE THINGS IN WRITING IF YOU ARE DOING A GROUP BOOKING THROUGH ONLINE MODE. Their representatives are not at all aware about the services they can and can not provide once you checked in. THIS PROPERTY, MANAGEMENT AND THEIR HOSPITALITY IS THE BEST EXAMPLE OF OVER COMMITMENT AND UNDER DELIVERY. If you want to ruin your time, money and dream of perfect gateway, then all the best!

Awesome place to visit for short trip. Ambience was refreshing and fresh with cool breeze of wind flowing between small forest built around. Natural trail to walk was fun. We tried both veg and non veg food items and they taste awesome. Staff was friendly and took good care of us.
