Small fort with beautiful surrounding view. Easy grade 1.30-2 hr trek. Coming from Lonavala, just some distance from the left to Javan-Tungi road you can spot Signboard of the fort. From last hut take left which leads to the col between two hills. After coming to the col again take left and after climbing some distance you will see a huge plateau. And at the end of that you can spot the fort. You have to cross full plateau surrounding the fort and then watch for signboard towards left. Take precautions on last section. There is one ladder to climb to the top. There are few water tanks above. Water is drinkable in some of that but not available throughout the year. Not much remains to see on the fort. You can spot Tung fort, Korigad, Lohgad, Tikona from the top. Less crowded. Go for some quality peace time.

Morgiri Is a very nice fort. Firstly it was used for use of watchtower on region. Geomatrically , fort is Behind Tung fort. Fort is located in Lonavla , behind Amby valley . Their are two routes to reach at base of fort. One is from pawana dam via Tung fort to Morve village. Don't go till Morve village. There is Bramha Heavens villa, besides that villa you have to turn from right side & that road guide you till one office , park your bike there & start your trek with following rebins & signs which are on tree. Last part of fort is little bit branches. This route is safe. Follow this route. You start trek from dens forest, then gradually you enter into waterfall route, don't forget to follow colour ribins & before start don't forget to locate fort location & direction. After finishing waterfall you will reach on the top of table land & then you will reach on the base of fort. Last patch of fort is risky. Take care. Anather route is from Jambulne . Don't go from this Route

Great trek. You can come to lonavala by train and go to the near by ST station. Rs. 25 will take you to Ghusalkhamb. From there it is a 3-4 km walk to the base of the fort. From there follow signs to the top of the fort. Keep an eye on the signs as the route is not clear. The climb is easy for most part of the trek. The last part is tricky, if you are new to trekking I would recommend you take a rope with you, which will help you climb. I went during rains and cannot tell about other seasons. There is nothing to explore on the fort but a few tanks and temple of jakhmata. Not suitable for night stay as wind speed is very high and tent won't sustain the force.
