During monsoon season you could see many gushing waterfalls in the hill which made the hill very beautiful. Edible land snails "Escargots" are found on the rocks of the waterfalls.

Lonavla Khandala and Malavli are hill stations, in the Sahyadri ranges that demarcate the Deccan Plateau and the Konkan coast. The name Lonavla is derived from the Sanskrit lonavli, which refers to the many caves like Karla Caves, Bhaja Caves and Bedsa that are close to Lonavla.

Must visit in monsoon. Fresh and cool breeze provides peace to your soul. There is greenery all around which is a treat to the eyes and mind. Also, you might encounter some waterfalls in the rainy season. The hill is easy to climb without requirement of any equipment.
