Visited Dec 2016 and Aug 2017 (during the monsoons). There's nothing I can possibly add to what all the other reviews say. I will say this though : you will be better off if you visit these caves rather than the more well known Karla Caves nearby. No crowds here, no stalls along the steps, no garbage strewn about and these caves are almost as good as the Karla caves. Attaching many pics, some in black and white which suits this site better. Visiting during/just after the monsoons recommended.

Awesome. It shows out tradition. Beautiful place. It is 1 hour travel by car from Lonavla. It will take approximately 30 mints at caves from down. They RS. 25 for Indians and RS. 300 for foreigners. Best time to visit in winter and rainy season and if you are visiting in summer they visit in morning or evening. Here you will get lot local food options in budget.

This place is very peaceful.....There is nothing like Museum.....so don't expect that.... some part of the cave is closed.....Main purpose to visit this cave should be Trekking and spending some time to enjoy the natural view and get relaxed....

Beautiful Buddhist architecture. need to climb for around 1.5 to 2 kms dont forget to carry A water bottle.25rs entry ticket for Indians and for foreigners it's little more.view from the top is very nice.Nearby waterfalls is there but if you visit after October you can just see the rock formation of the waterfall. Near the parking area people will sell cucumber, corn cold drinks etc. Parking ticket is 10rs per vehicle
