Tiretta Bazaar, is a neighborhood near Lalbazar in Central Kolkata. It is usually called "Old China Market". Most of the Hakka Chinese people have moved to Tangra near EM Bypass now. The locality was once home to 20,000 ethnic Chinese Indian nationals, but now the population has dropped to approximately 2,000.

I have been to the Chinese food market there. authentic Chinese food, but you have to reach there very early. 6 A.M is ideal time to reach. food are sold on street. I tried different vendors. more or less all are same.I relished and enjoyed a different culture
