The Science City of Kolkata is the largest science centre in the Indian subcontinent. It is Managed by National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India.In a Science Park, people come closer to plants, animals and other objects in their natural surroundings and also learn about the basic principles of science in an open air learning environment. The park interactive exhibits are engineered so as to tolerate all the weather. Science Park has become the integral part in all the centres of NCSM. It comprises Caterpillar Ride, Gravity Coaster, Musical Fountain, Road Train, Cable Cars, Monorail Cycle, butterfly nursery and several exhibits on physical and life sciences and a maze set up in a lush green ambience.

Great place to learn about science for children. It was an awesome place a few years back. They are trying to add additional tickets for all attractions now.. become more money minded than a place to learn. The garden in the centre with the free demonstrations are not maintained properly because it's free.. Once a glorious place, now just business.

This is place is really awesome and I'm very happy when every I visit here. This place is best for every age group mail for the today youths. Place is fully save with tied security and CCTV camera. Food counters are there but the rate is high, so, I suggest that bring your own food to the Science city, and don't bring and harmful thing to the park. And yeah I proudly say that I visit here and I'm also suggest you to visit ones. Thanks

It is a very good place to enjoy with your kids with a good picnic mode. Entry fee 60/- parking 60/- There are package of 2D or 3D show. It is coming at 260/- . You can get in only with the entry ticket and get the tickets of different show separately. There is a big garden where kids can play and enjoy the day. 3hr is sufficient for shows. Rest you can enjoy....

Visited on Valentine's day and we had a great time. The grounds are clean and well maintained and there is a entire day's worth of places to visit. Especially enjoyed the Dark Ride which had a history of the entire world as well as the Historial movie about Human evolution. Food was filing as well though the food court could have been cleaner. Lastly be prepared to pay upwards of 500 rupees if you want to visit all the places. Still definitely a must visit for the family.

Love this place, it's really beautiful. The outdoor scene is just amazing, the way they take care and maintain the gardens filled with various types of flowers and other kinds of plants. Keeps the place cool and pleasant. It's one of the places that you should visit when you are in Kolkata. It's educational for young students especially for study tours and sightseeing. And adjacent to it, there are other halls for seminars, conferences and workshops. Very good place to hold these kinds of programs as it is very spacious and it is easy for commuting too.
