Huge park, very spacious. Well maintained. The same ticket gives you access to the kids area that has a lot of swings and rides. There is a pagoda in the island, the kids enjoy playing there. There is a huge amount of biodiversity here. Many different species of plants and birds. We saw the Asian Open Bill Stork, Lesser Egret, Grey Pond Heron, Parrots, Spotted Dove and Small Cormorant ! Kids and old people used to enjoy feeding fish here, there were some real big ones. BUT, the big fish have disappeared since they opened up for angling :-( You can carry food and water with you inside the park.

I just love love love this place.. I just visited here on 27th December 2019.. The Total Ambience is beautiful, nature lover, photographer will love this place.. Full of fresh air, plenty trees, sound of bird chirping will make you feel alive from inside and take you away from our city pollution..But you will hardly get any food items here if you feel hungry because no such good food joints are here

Karunamoyee Book Fair 2020. Best way to start this new year. You'll get any book here(all well-known publishers). The place or the area is very very big. The way they have distributed different areas for different kinds and the way they are presenting the stalls is par excellence.

Being a favorite hangout for lovers, the park has a rose garden which has different varieties of domestic and imported roses. The park is built around an expansive lake and the lake is a heaven for water birds. Another famous attraction in the park is the beautiful butterfly garden which is home to numerous species of butterflies.
