I visited this place once last year during Durga Puja. You will feel that authenticity of Landlords during British rule in India. The way they use to live there. Overall its a beautiful place

Today Pathuriaghata is a locality in North Kolkata, lined with mansions built by rich Bengalis in the 18th and 19th century. The Ghosh Family is one such aristocratic family of Pathuriaghata. There is a street named after Babu Khelat Ghosh, which actually leads to his Palace!

Grand opulence of the bygone days is still in full glory. The sad part is that the deity was being offered prayers amongst security personnels posted and the priests performing the rites. Not much fanfare from the family there.

One of the best bonedibari during durga puja.
