A nice peaceful and place of tranquility. A great place for bird watchers or if u are a wildlife photographer. Even if u want to just get some forest vibes, its a must visit. But the place needs some maintenance. The drinking water places for birds were mostly dried out. If u name it a bird sanctuary, the first thing u need is to take care of birds living there which is missing.

Nice place to refresh your mind and soul.As it is a bird sanctuary but there is not as many birds. I've only saw 3 birds. But I love this place because it refreshes me. Those who love nature must visit once.

The natural vegetation is worth a watch here . The ferns and trees growing in the abundance of nature. But not many birds are visible in the area. That also depends on the crowd. Too much crowd causes the birds to flee6 Ticket : Rs 50.

It was a nice place. It is like a small oxygen plant in city. However very poorly maintained. Sufficient water is not available for birds and other animals. Trees do not provide proper food for birds and as a result most of the birds have left the place.

Hope .

I am stunned that such a good sanctuary is being maintained in kolkata. A ton of bird can be seen and the place is quiet as it should be. If you are a photographer, it would be better if you work solo or in a small group.
