Like the original Big Ben, the Kolkata clock tower has four giant clocks facing the cardinal directions. Christened "Kolkata Time Zone", it has been built by the local municipal body as a part of the drive to beautify the city. The 135-feet tower was built at a cost of about Rs 1.36 crore by the Anglo Swiss Company.

A busy place, buses and cars all ober the place but very clean and well maintained. Trees for decoration are scattered around the place. And the clock tower is a huge specimen of architecture, ut is inspired from the Big Ben. Fantastic looking stunning view, looks wonderful with lighting when the sun sets and night prevails. One must come to this place to witness the beauty.

Beautiful tower like Big Ben at VIP Lake Town junction. The clock shows exact time. Lighting in the evening is good looking. Good attempt

This place is located exact center of lake town and VIP crossing. The tower looks like exact same of big Ben clock tower. This place looks so beautiful at night.

One more feather on kolkata's crown. Gigantic structure looks more beautiful at night with different colourful lights. Located close to the very famous Shreebhoomi club.
