A very humble setup, though it has many branches across Kolkata. I guess the focus is purely on food rather than the ambience. Extremely busy even for a weekday lunch (we had to wait for a table). The funny part is to get a table where you have to stand near it once the occupants are almost done eating but are yet to vacate it. Now coming to the food, it's a thorough delight. They do have a menu card. Once you are settled at a table and plates are laid, the waiter brings a tray full of freshly cooked dishes where you see and smell a dish to order. They also have day special menu that has to be asked for. Suggestion: it's good to tip the waiter right at the beginning as then you will get proper attention

Fine, authentic Bangaladesh cuisine restaurant right in the heart of city of joy. Parking is impossible (almost). Restaurant is on 1st floor , with staircase access only. You can't place reservation and more so , have to literally stand besides another patron while they are finishing up to grab a seat. Yet , despite all the odds , their cuisine and taste beats everything.

They are specialist in Dhakai cuisine. Food price isn’t reasonable, rather I'd say few items are overpriced! This particular branch doesn’t offer you a great experience to sit down and have food with your beloved ones. Service isn't really friendly. They don't provide menu card with price-chart which is upsetting. Food taste is good, but the overpriced tag hurts a consumer.

Awesome! First Things first! Their unique way of presenting food makes things interesting. Once you're at the table, the waiter will bring a thali of curries out of which you can look(Taste also i guess) and select. I had prawns and fish both of them are amazing 100% Recommended. Give it a try when you're around new market or Esplanade area.

One of the best restaurant in Calcutta for Bengali dishes. Most of the food were very delicious and special. Please don’t miss the sweet curd at the end.
