When I visited Kolkata 3 years back for my daughter's interview, all the hotels were fully booked and at a gentleman's recommendation, I visited this hotel and got the room which was nice & tidy. I found the front desk manager & staff very courteous & polite. :-) Highly recommended !!

Nice hotel.. Market and restaurants are nearby.. Staff is polite.. You can reach here easily by cab.. Perfect for 1/2 days stay.. Specially for the corporate employees..

Hotel Esteem is in Kolkata. You can find it on Google Maps also. For hotel Esteem you can do online booking also. They have rooms on floors. They offer breakfast buffet with room booking depending on your booking. Rooms are good, small n spacious. Bathroom have electric gyser facility also. They maintain cleanliness. Hotel have lift option. On order you can have lunch, dinner too. They serve lunch n dinner in their dinning hall only. It's budget friendly hotel.

Very unhygienic and poorly ventilated rooms. Reception and outlook is good and building is new. But linens beds and other amenities are to dirty. Galleries and ways are too complex lots of curves and turns. Rooms are small and big mirrors are installed here and there to reduce claustrophobic design. Room service is bit relaxed. They don't serve complimentary bottled water. Towel is dirty like cleaning cloth, bedding and linen dirty with dirt spots and torn cloths. I don't recommend this hotel for the price they are charging.

The rooms were nice, but the food was exceptional. Truly an underrated hotel in Kolkata. Everything was quick and prompt. No waiting was involved. It isn't visible from the main road, which is both advantageous and disadvantageous. All in all it stands up to it's reputation as the best hotel in Kolkata.
