Eden Gardens is one of the best attractions of Kolkata. We visited the place while attending a friendly match. We witnessed the players dressing room, club house gallery and many more sections of the ground. The main ground is just awesome and had a great view from club house side. It has become a memorable experience to cherish.

The Eden Gardens is the largest cricket stadium in India and third-largest in the world in terms of seating capacity. It is widely acknowledged to be one of the most iconic cricket stadiums in the world. It has been called “cricket’s answer to the Coliseum. It has a reputation of staging the most passionate and vocal crowd and has almost become like a place of pilgrimage for most international cricketers. It played host to the iconic India-Australia Test series in 2001 wherein VVS Laxman scored a glorious 281 which remains the highest score at the ground. The pitch at Eden Gardens has traditionally been on the slower side and good for batting, assisting spin bowlers very early.

Eden Gardens is the oldest and second Largest cricket stadium in India which was established in 1864. It is the third largest cricket stadium in the world. It is the Home Ground of BENGAL CRICKET TEAM and KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS. The first ever Day Night test match in India was hosted here on 22.11.2019 between India and Bangladesh

It's a bliss to visit such crowded eden... first pink ball test at eden.... Memorable experience.. Toilets are clean and usable.. Food is not that good.. Preferable packaged food.... Police uncles are very helping and well behaving... Amazing experience to visit the oldest cricket stadium in India... Willing to visit for often... ❤️
