Johnnagar Baptist Church, formerly the Carey Baptist Church was founded by Rev. Dr. Carey himself, with the help of pundits translated the full Bible into Bengali, Sanskrit, Oriya, Hindi, Marathi and Assamese. He also wrote a Bengali Grammar and a Bengali dictionary.

Every Sunday we wise to visit this Church. If anyone visits this Church, will listen God's call which is everlasting. Jesus is calling everyone. Every momoment he is shaping our identity . My life is an example . You go with your empty hand and will get according to your need. God knows our need more than us. Praise the Lord.

Place is well located....one can easily reach there by metro....just drop at Central Metro Station and take the tram line and on the left side of the road one can find the church
