Balwant Singh's Eating House is one of the oldest food joint in Kolkata, just behind P.G. Hospital, which serves excellent tea along with quick bites like samosas, nimkis and kachoris. They are also famous for Dudh Cola and North Indian cuisine. Most interesting thing about this place is that , it's pocket friendly. I am a regular visitor of this place. But my last experience was horrible. There was rat in the dining area. The staffs behaved as if it was normal to have rats in the dining area. I am deeply worried about the kitchen hygiene. It is an established restaurant. Yet they fail to provide a proper hand washing liquid by the basin.food is overpriced considering it's a veg restaurant. Prices doubles at the ac floor.

Tea tastes awesome, but price is little bit high. This shop is famous for it's tea rather than the other foods. Single cup tea costs Rs. 30 which is a little bit more for me. If it is 20 or max 25 then it is ok. Yes, the taste is very good. I always try to taste the tea when ever it is possible for me. You can come and taste the tea.

Round clock service... Great taste... Awesome service... Price is on bit higher side but you can enjoy unique taste.. Best for group party in Midnight... I love Dudhkolka of this place.. Providing excellent service from almost 100yrs.

Very popular restaurant. Food quality is good. Quantity is also good. Value for money! Try their tea if you go there. It's awesome.

An authentic and old place to eat good foods. I have eaten Tea here for which it is famous. You can eat tea is large pots and there prices vary like Rs. 15, 30 etc.
