Baikuntha Temple, also called Vaikunthanathar Kovil, is a South Indian Hindu temple situated in Jorasanko, Central Kolkata, India. It is situated on the bank of river hoogly which is a tributary of ganges. Baikuntha It is known for its distinct South Indian architecture. It was completed in 1960.

Ladies be careful if u don't wear 'Sari' priests will not allow to go inside the main temple. Then only you'll get a chance to darshan of God from threshold. So make sure yourself if u don't wear saari before visit this temple. Some priests behavior is very bad on ladies regarding this. Otherwise very calm atmosphere inside of this temple.

What people think about religious place... I am damn sure this place not disappoint you but you get enormous peace after visiting the place. Try to notice the sculpture made above the entrance gate if you follow wisely it will contain every small detail of our epic battles.

Very beautiful place. Totally south style temple. Priests are nice.. Very peaceful and calm environment.. Only thing is that if you want to do parikrama then please wear saree for women and dhoti for men. Without dhoti and saree one can not enter inner shrine or garva griha... Very beautiful temple. Venkateshwara govinda

My trip to VaikuntaNathan temple was wonderful and had blessings of Lord Laxmi Narayan and godess Lakshmi. I got fruitful enjoyment with the darshan of god
