Babughat (Babooghat), Baje Kadamtala Ghat, (Baboo Raj Chandra Ghat) is one of the many ghats built during British Raj, along the bank of Hooghly River on Strand Road, Kolkata at B.B.D. Bagh, Kolkata. The ghat has a tall colonial structure, which is the landing berth of the ghat.

The centuries old Ghat on the bank of Hooghly, a sacred place for worship - visited by thousands every year. Be it tourists or locals, all enjoy the cool breeze here, with soft horn blowing of the ferries in background, and waves splashing rhythmically. You can get fantastic views of sunset - so must be here, if you're a Photography enthusiast. It requires maintenance though, it is very littered at places due to huge number of commuters through it everyday.

Open and wide river bank gives imnse visual pleasure. Good place to visit with friends. Little more neatness is required to keep the place more attractive.

Very good ghat near hoogly and the best place to spend time till night as of soundless place...... Boatings are also available there and the bridge is so lighted during nights so you can enjoy the sight of river and bridge at a time.... I love this place at first time

#Ideal for photographers. #This place is not very clean, as it is a public place, so try to keep it clean as much as possible by not throwing your dumps here and there when you are visiting this place. Location is nice. You can seat and spend your time by enjoying the river view. It's kinda likable as well as pleasant. Afternoon and evening is the best time to be there.

Riverside ... Little dirty, but quite better then before. Ample parking space , gud street food also around. Gud quiet place . Also get fr taking pictures
