One of the oldest and renowned south Indian restaurants in Kolkata, Anand is a vegetarians' paradise. A busy street in the heart of the city leads you to Anand. The interiors of the restaurant are not really appealing. Casual Dining - South Indian, Street Food, Fast Food. Approx cost for two people Rs 500.

A veg restaurant with excellent quality and variety of collection of food. Ambience is good. Very clean and well maintained. Only thing for which I got disappointed their timing of sweeping out dust and garbage besides and underneath tables and chairs while customers are taking their food. Wet cleaning of floor is perfectly fine, but dust cleaning through sweeping out by broom at the time customers are enjoying their food is not right anyway.

If you have love for South Indian stuffs then it's probably the best place to be. It abounds in rich lip smacking South Indian food coupled with some perfect beverages. One can easily visit it for snacks and lunch. The place is spacious and near to chandi metro. Rich and a regal place!

One of the best South Indian restaurants till date. Have been visiting this place since childhood and I still love the food . The place is comfortable and affordable. Everything in the menu is worth it. Nothing has changed and the aquarium still fascinates me. Ambience- ✔️ Service-✔️ Price- ✔️ Quality-✔️ Quantity-✔️ Taste-✔️

This place is famous for best quality vegetarian South Indian dishes and is highly recommended. Prices are reasonable and pocket friendly. This place has a nice AC environment and should be visited with family and friends.

It's a very old South Indian restaurant near esplanade, I used to have tasty crunchy South Indian food from this place for last 40 years, but quality is same. Love it.
