Allen Park in Park Street was decked up to the dimes and dozens for Christmas and New Year celebrations in Kolkata. Famous during Christmas. This place has a public attraction during this time. It gets decorated with glorious lighting Making the feel of Christmas. Going to this place is very easy as it is very near to Park Street metro station. Functions and many events goes on through out the year mostly during winter

I havent visited it normally but wow it was decorated so nicely during Christmas. You cant miss to visit this if came to park street during Christmas or new year. Traffic maybe a problem here during that time so better get down from the vehicle a little before and come walking then. The main passage is decorated so nicely. Also there was live concert organized. Can try some desserts or snacks too.

I have loved going to this park since forever. Sitting here quietly alone, doing nothing is so much peace. It's good for walks, especially after the new carved out tracks. The sidewalks are accentuated by nice benches to sit. The park has a few children stuffs which need to be improved.

Allen Park is located in Park Street, Kolkata, the hub for posh night clubs, eateries, bars, shopping malls and restaurants. The Calcutta Christmas Carnival is celebrated here. Various artistes and rock groups, regale the audience by beautiful renditions of classical hits and peppy numbers, played under psychedelic lights. I visited this place during Christmas and as always it was lit up with very beautiful lights and band performances were going on along with a number of food stalls to much on.Loved the ambience. It is a walking distance from the park Street metro and will be the best place to spend time in these winter evenings. There is a plethora of restaurants near the place.
