The Mehrangarh Fort viewpoint at Singhoria Hill looks back over the desert landscape and provides the best view of the fort in the distance. This viewpoint is lesser-known to tourists so you’ll be able to enjoy the stunning views all to yourself. The viewpoint is located at Singhoria Hill which is just a short 10 minute walk from the fort itself. You can also reach the fort by walking from the city which will take you roughly 15 minutes. From Mehrangarh Fort you’ll notice a hill in the distance with stairs leading up it. Follow the road past the carpark and you’ll reach the bottom of the stairs located just beside the main road. The stairs lead up to the rocks where you can climb around. You can explore the area yourself to find the best view of the landscape. Additionally, you can head up to the fort wall for some views overlooking the other side.

The view from up here is a visual treat! The entire city is visible from here along with Jaswanthada and the Umaid Bhavan Palace. The observation deck is on the upper storey of the mehrangarh fort where you can witness parrots, canons, langurs and the scenic city painted in blue.
