One amazing place to stay, they have completely changed the old Mandir. The outside view is really mind blowing and amazing service. There is also one of the cities major attraction nearby, its amazing to find a place to stay like this.

Among many spectacular palaces of Rajasthan—Mandir Palace in Jaisalmer is a popular name. The famous palace in Rajasthan is now a heritage hotel owned by Dr Jitendra Singh, the grandson of Maharawal Jawahir Singh ji, the man who constructed the palace. Mandir Palace is one of the most important places to visit in Jaisalmer.

At a walking distance to the Jaisalmer Fort, Mandir Palace is an amazing hotel to stay at. Traditionally inspired rooms, pool, museum, a lot of mandirs (temples) and a rooftop restaurant with a view of the fort. The food is also great! One thing that can be improved is the food-service, which we found a little slow.

Amazing place to stay. The architecture and the view are incredible. There is a nice restaurant with friendly staff and local cuisine selection. Recommended!

This place is a shame! I used their pool for 450 roupies, and went to their restaurant for the lunch. The staff of the restaurant is nice, trying to make their best, but it’s unfortunately the worst service I had in India, for the must expensive lunch. They did mistakes in the order, took out our plates when one of us didn’t finish to eat, and the worst was to ask if we want desserts or cafes?!? How can you ask that when someone is still eating his lunch? Finally, they ran after me because I was not able to take a picture of the building from outside - because I’m not a client of the hotel - (but I still paid to use their pool and for an expensive lunch). And when I just had a look of the courtyard, a guy screamed on me that I’m not a client of the hotel to get there. What a joke. I really don’t recommend it. Beautiful place but expensive and very rude staff.
