Jaisalmer war museum is an amazing place. Saw a short movie there and found it really nice. It's a clean place and nicely managed. Parking is also there and altogether good to visit. Museum is build indoor and outdoor

The Jaisalmer War Museum was conceptualised to display India's rich military history and showcase real war efforts as they happened in the past. The Jaisalmer War Museum aims to promote greater awareness of the sacrifice made by heroes of the Indian Army, in particular, and Indian Armed Forces in general.

The tales of the soldiers and officers of the Indian Army are displayed. It has names of Paramveer Chakra and Mahavir Chakra winners written along with their photographs. The museum houses 2 Shermans and a T-59 tank, a recovery vehicle from Pakistan, won in the war with Pakistan. This museum has one Indian Hunter Aircraft, one T-55 Tank, 2 Vijayant Tanks, one Anti-Aircraft Gun, Pack House 75/24, RCL Gun, Air Defense Radar and BTR. 60 is displayed. Memories of the war are refreshed through moving pictures in the museum and in this presentation, the hero of that war Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri gives information about the wartime conditions.

Truly amazing. It will make you feel pride of our Armed Forces. Don't forget to watch the movie in museum and buying bullets key chain from souvenir shop

A must see for all Indians. All about sacrifices of our Army personnel depicted graphically. Some very poignant letters written by the martyrs to their families also reproduced. Very touching. One will definitely be moved and get emotional. A large car parking is available.

Must visit place in Jaisalmer. Lots of real tanks,guns and other artillery on display.loved the arrangement and details.dont miss the audio visual show of 15minutes. Also visit their souvenir shop. Ample parking space available. Well maintained garden. Tribute and honour to our brave soldiers
