The Jain Temples are located within the premises of the Jaisalmer Fort. Any local will be able to help you locate them. The road to the temple is narrow it's best you walk to temple from the parking lot. The temples date back to the 12th and 15th centuries and are dedicated to famous Jain hermits known as 'Tirthankars' (wise teachers who taught people how to attain nirvana). Like all other structures in Jaisalmer, the temples are built out of yellow sandstone in Dilwara architecture style and boasts of intricate carvings. You are generally allowed to click pictures within the temple.
