Heaven on earth at night. In this desert at night you can literally see sky full of stars because of absence of lights. Beautiful desert for camping, camel safari, jeep Safai. There's no electricity or mobile network here so you are fully surrounded by nature. Sunset and sunrise View from sand dunes are awesome. We lived here for 3 days in tents for camping. Wonderful place.

Really enjoyed camel safari in Desert national park in Jaisalmer. Very beautiful place in India, and a must visit place in Rajasthan. I visited in December, I think that was not that hot time, and especially winter time in North India.

Simply awesome and one of the best desert habitats in the country. I was very much excited to see several raptors during my trip to this desert national park. Very well maintained park of such an awesome habitat. Its a unique habitat and the forest department should preserve it. Amazing Place for Nature Lovers, an excellent example of the ecosystem of the Thar Desert and its rich fauna.

Wildlife photography, winter is best for visit The Desert National Park displays the best of the Thar desert’s ecosystem and its varied wildlife. The Park is formed of undulating sand dunes, jagged rocks, dense salt lake bottoms and inter-medial areas. Various species of animals such as black buck, chinkara and desert fox inhabit the Park. The highly endangered Great Indian Bustard, one of the world's heaviest flying birds, can also be seen here. In winter, the park hosts an incredible variety of migratory raptors such Himalayan and Eurasian Griffon Vultures, Eastern Imperial Eagle, and the Saker Falcon. Credits:Rajasthan govt.
