The hotel is large with a putting and croquet green. There is a lovely outdoor pool, fitness center and spa. The hotel is nicely appointed with large, inviting rooms including some luxury tent cabins. One of the charming features of the hotel are the parrots and peacocks. Our room featured a four-poster bed, sitting area, and desk. Walk-In closet, dressing table, sunken soaking tub and dual sinks are some of the features. Nice breakfast buffet with made to order items.

A piece of paradise in the North of India, with amazing service and care. Many of the rooms are private bungalows/tents, crazy charming!

Our stay in Oberoi Rajvillas was no short of exquisite. The whole place is very grand, the rooms are lavish and the property is filled with lakes, peacocks and fountains. We went during the covid 19 time, and the pools and spa wasn't (and I think still aren't) operating but the rooms themselves have bathrooms with huge bathtubs with their own private garden. Food wise, there was only one restaurant that was operating during our visit but the library bar was also open. So, you could start you evening early in the library bar and then order ahead for your dinner instead of waiting at the dinner table, which is what we did. Another great part was that our dinner was accompanied with rajasthani folk singers and dancers and my only regret during the trip was not capturing it because my phone was off. The experience of staying at the villas can also not be complete without calling out the staff that welcomes and serves you. Before visiting the hotel the staff had called us to ask the occasion of our stay and when we told them that it was our anniversary, we were welcomed by a beautiful cake in the evening. When you enter the property, you are welcomed by nearly everyone - from the chauffeur to the Manager and told what to expect from everyone. That said, while most of the staff was extremely welcoming, there were a few misses during our stay - for example we still had the welcome card in our room from what I can only guess were the previous occupants, and the service at the restaurant would sometimes just take forever but everytime we pointed out anything, the staff was happy to correct like when they missed our order for soup but then when they realised they missed that, we just got it for free. So if this happens to anyone else I would just advise you to be vocal (but still nice) to the staff.
