Amazing place. A must visit for family. Very beautiful and green in the monsoons. Tours operated in morning and evening. Bookings can be done online via fmdss site or offline from the onsite ticket counter at rate of rs2400 or through various private partners for an entire gypsy which allows upto 5 passengers. 2 1/2 hours tour. There's an air conditioned waiting area. Amenities like washrooms, cafeteria and souvenir shops need more development. Parking facility present. They conduct temperature checks at entry and sanitation is maintained throughout. Famous for leopard sighting, but also good for bird watching, neelgais, antelopes, spotted deer, foxes and civets. They may also offer to take you Shikaroudi, which is nothing more than a watch tower with seating arrangement. One can bring their own tea and snacks and have it there for an extra change of rs500. Many different species of birds are also seen and heard. Bring with yourself a pair of binoculars, water bottles, sunscreen, bug repellent and lots of patience. Keep the cameras with a good telephoto lens ready as unlike their cousins in ranthambore, leopards are people shy and won't give a lot of time to be photographed. It's an oasis in the middle of the city.
