Description
Shri Mahalaxmi Temple located in Bandora, 4km from Ponda in Goa, is dedicated to Goddess Mahalakshmi. The highlight of the temple is the idol of the Goddess with a linga on her head and is considered a Satvik (peaceful) form of the Devi. The deity was worshipped by the Silahara rulers and the Kadamba Kings.
