Description
The temple of Ramnathi is located in Ramnathim, Bandivade in Goa.Goud Saraswat Brahmins (G.S.B) community (belonging to Gokarn Math, & Kashi Mutt) and vaishyas are primary worshippers. Similar to other Goan Brahmin temples, Ramnathi too incorporates the system of Panchayatan, therefore, this temple houses 5 main deities namely - Shri Ramanath (chief deity), Shanteri, Kamakshi, Laxmi Narayan, Ganapati, Betal and Kalbhairav, along with other family purushas.

Amazing temple. Very peaceful and calm. Although the rooms that we stayed in needed proper maintenance. Rain water leaked through the ceiling, toilets weren't cleaned properly.

The temple is great . But the temple rooms are a total mess. The AC rooms cost about 700 bucks a room . We don't mind paying a bit more if that means a cleaner room. This time we found the bedsheets were not changed and had hair and some powdery stuff all over the sheets. The fan had solid dust deposit all over it and the dust started falling over the sheets once we switched on the fan .The floor was full of dust and we had to sweep it ourselves .the bathroom floor was dirty too . I have heard about badly maintained rooms from many friends too. Not sure why they think that people will always bear with this and not do anything about it .
