Nice little restaurant. Not too crowded except maybe at lunch time. Clean place. However, can't help feeling that items are overpriced when compared with similar size and type of restaurants.

Description
The year 1986. Founder Carlos Tavora, born and raised in a Goan Catholic family, decided to cater to an increasing demand for vegetarian food in Goa, which was clearly becoming one of the most sought after holiday destinations in the country. Uninitiated in both, the cuisine and the restaurant line, he set up Navtara. No mean feat for an ambitious, then paint-salesman, fresh off his MBA. The budding entrepreneur boldly raised the shutters to his 150 seat South Indian restaurant on August 22, 1986. His keen eye for detail, and dedicated discipline rubbed off on the establishment, making it a trusted household name for locals and tourists alike. If somebody is looking pure veg and tasty breakfast in morning or evening with hot serving one has to visit the most renowned restaurant in vegetarian community. They have several branches nationwide and nobody can compete them in taste and also in quality cleanliness. Hotel is available for easy access from any location but only problem is they charge much more prices for almost everything. Customers should go pocket full while entering the same as sometimes card swipe Machines doesn't work.

Very good food but quite high prices. Quite compact seating arrangements but it was clean, hygienic, and well maintained. Staff is helpful, friendly and appealing

One of the best place to visit for South Indian as well North Indian chat food.. there is good food served along with decent hygiene and rates are pretty reasonable

One of the best restaurants in the city of MadGao.... Pure vegetarian... Quiet expensive in prices. Tastes good. Services is best. Good Ambience enormous spacious. It also provides Chinese options.
