Nice temple. Get flowers for Lord Shiva in temple entrance which cost you only 10rs. You have to walk 10 min from parking. There are more shops for shopping. Hotel available here. Ice cream will be sold out in vehicle near the parking. Currently construction is going on in parking area, so you have to park your vehicle in road side.

Very ancient temple and most popular among local and neighboring states. Temple area is big, spacious, very clean and neat maintained. Clam and relaxing place. There are rooms for stay to travellers. Outside the temple premises, there are plenty of refreshments available.

If you are visiting the temple as a tourist, a decent place to visit. Unconventional architecture for a temple. However, if you are here for religious duties, the temple is poorly managed, the administrative staff at temple is were it starts. Very little transparency, my way or high way. They treat you with very little respect. The process for booking a service is all over the place. If you have to perform basic Abhishekam, there is no formal process. Only option you are left with is approach a priest and you are at his mercy from there on least to say. What to wear, where to buy, who can perform, what it would cost.... Good options are basic, there is a canteen available on premise, few options, not so good taste.. but there is something in case one is starving. The staff at the canteen is helpful though...

Very peaceful and a different side of Goa. Beautiful temple which is well maintained. But the living spaces should be better maintained. The food offered as prasadam is truly godly. The food is without onion and garlic..But couldn't make out the difference.

Shree Manguesh Temple located in Goa, India is a place filled with people with peace in their heart. It's a prominent tourist attraction for those who wish to see something beyond the sea beaches and water sports. It's a bit far from the main town. So a cab or a tour bus is recommended for visiting it. I visited it a week ago with my parents and I must say it was a great experience visiting it.
This temple is family deity of Lata Mangeshkar. This a very old temple partly destroyed by portugese but reconstructed later. The nearby places are Ponda fort, very old Lakshmi narayan Temple ( must see) and Shantha durga Temple.
