La Plage - Goa    Share

La Plage is run by a French couple and offers authentic French cuisine. The ambience is wonderful and the restaurant is set up with a very rich taste of interior decoration. The food is excellent and cooked to perfection. The salads, starters, mains and the desserts all have a rich taste and mouth watering. The layout of the dishes is awesome too. It's a must try fine dine restaurant in Goa and would love to visit this place time and again.

This restaurant is bang on the beach. Run by a French family. Open from Nov end uptil April end. Fabien runs the kitchen and they source a lot of their ingredients from Europe. Cuisine is excellent. Delicate flavours bring out the taste of the meats/ veggies. Produce is fresh. Desserts are also made in the kitchen. They have maintained their standard I've the years as well. As it's on the beach it is a great place to have a drink, take a dip, grab a meal. .. Service is good as well.. Not cheap. Sort of being expensive, but for this quality...

Genuinely lovely spot. Just by the beach, great surroundings, good music ,comfy tables and chairs. Good service and great menu. We went back several times and definitely one to check out!!

Great ambiance. Restaurant is on the beach. Had the Avocado on toast as a starter which was good. The sardine pie though left me searching for the Sardine For the main course had the Japanese soup Which came with an assortment of tiny bites like a bento box. Not very expensive for French food.

Good food, limited selection Focuses largely on French seafood and a bit of fast food like burgers etc. Portions are a bit small, enough if you are an average eater. Definitely not enough if you looking to split a portion or are a healthy eater. Situated on the beachfront so that's a definite plus.
