House of Goa is a small museum in Goa. This museum is dedicated to Goan Architecture and Goa’s old lifestyle/culture. Every first time visitor gets surprised by the wonderful design of House of Goa. Museum kept its uniqueness not just from items preserved inside but from outside as well, with its ship shaped building build with Chira Stone that usually found in Konkan and Goa. At House of Goa, you can buy Goan stuffs and books. On upper floor you can enjoy music with headphone and on the top floor you can seat back get relaxed or even read books. House of Goa has one beautiful balcony, this balcony reminds me Juliet’s balcony, and you can enjoy clicking pics here.

The localities may find the items and the entire set up, a little mundane. People with a shift towards architecture and art would definitely appreciate this meticulously curated place. It houses a lot of information within the marvellous 3 storeyed building.

This place is pretty good. Not much as expected. The architecture of the house Is likable. There should be some one to explain stuff or at least turn the lights on knowing the visitors are taking a look.

Even if you miss this one its ok. We went there thinking its a Portuguese history house but It just has photographs of different types of house and very few exhibits. Entire place didnt even take 5 minutes to complete, we had timed ourselves. Not worth paying rs 100 for entry. They offer rs 50 coupon to redeem on shopping but have nothing below rs 150 so you have to put in more money to redeem.

Amazing place to be at, special if one needs to know what Goa and ancient Goa, Goan were like this is a perfect place, from locks, doors, frames, chairs, compound walls, waranda, balcony to entire house structure it is amazing. Apart from the beautiful structure of the building paintings of Madam Dalvi are real charm. Glimpse of Mario Sir is a main Attraction. I feel even Goan should visit this place, those who don't know about it should have a close look and those who have experienced it should visit it to relive the olden days. Totally amazing. Tickets are Rs.100 per adult and Rs. 50 per kid DSLR Rs.50 is the entry fee. With a ticket of Rs.100/- one gets a coupon on Rs. 50/- to be used on the same day in the eatary or the momento shop that is at the ticket counter.

Nice design. But that's the thing I liked the most about this place. Other things were okay. Costs 30rs per person and 50rs on sundays.
