To get to this beach, one can pass through a hole in the fort wall ruins and catch a breathtaking and windblown amazing view of the picturesque beach. The hole from where one can enter is a gap in the Fortaleza Santa Catarina Fort walls to access the beach. The name, Grandmothers Hole Beach derives from a folklore that a grandmother used to sit at this hole waiting for her sons to come back from the sea. This tiny strip of sand is the prettiest beach in Goa, devoid and untouched by shacks

If we want to spend a day and have fun at a beach you shouldn't choose this beach as it might be beautiful but its crowded and dirty. It is pretty much like baina beach. I prefer this beach just for morning or evening walk

One of lovely hidden beaches in Goa. It's also called as Japanese Garden Beach. You have to come down atleast 300 steps almost to reach at the beach from top of the garden. But completely worthy. Sunset is magical thrre. Very clean and almost lonely beach.

Beautiful beach with volcanic rocks and a part of beach full of sea shells. It has a magnificent view from the Japanese garden. A green stairway leads to this beach, there is also a small and beautifully mandir on the way. The place is picture worthy and early morning visit is the most scenic

Beautiful beach I had ever seen
