Babazin's Shack on the banks of Mandovi river is our favourite hidden gem in Goa. A spectacular sunset, delicious food and affordable drinks makes this one a hit. Plus, it helps that it's not on one of North Goa's crowded beaches but in the quiet Reis Magos area that's not yet on the tourist radar. Casual Dining - Goan, Seafood. Approx cost for two people Rs 600.

Great place to relax by the riverside and enjoy some good food and drink. While it doesn't have much of an ambience to speak of, the fact the it's overlooking the river is more than adequate. Limited selection of food, mostly sea food and snacks but well prepared and at prices that are easy on the pocket.

Babazin is located on the banks of the river Mandovi.. the waves were lashing in to their own rhythm. The only place where you can enjoy a meal to the music of the waves instead of some karaoke. The sea food we ordered was delicious and fresh. The servers were polite and helpful. The food was flying off the menu. So better order in haste. A great place for families, groups, couples and even solos.

Excellent place hidden away from the tourists. Classic Goan food served in a setting that's a million bucks. Great and friendly service , with the staff taking efforts to explain the various dishes. Highly recommended for families as well as a group of friends.

Our favorite to go as a couple and unwind by the river side. Most romantic place in this part of town. Food is tasty and service is also personal. Love this place

This place is a perfect getaway from Loud Musical playback arenas, Its located on the waterfront of River Mondovi facing Panjim city in the forefront. It's not a typical commercial place so just sit in, relax and place your order. You will get most seafood, chicken and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Cheer up and place your feet into sea sand.
