Tons have been written about the shopping experience at this flea market. This is review is for those who do NOT like shopping and yet wonder if it is worth going. By all means, go! This is much like any street market you see anywhere in the world. Great for people watching and people photography if you are into that. Alleys and alleys of shops selling identical stuff, walking through them is good fun. There is the odd coffee and beer shop here and there and they give you a good break. If you are not an Indian, you will find people worshipping cows and bulls (don't know if that is a regular thing or it was just on the day we went) a thing of curiosity rather than of hindrance. Finally, succumb to the hype and buy a thing or two to bring back home. Street photographer, people photographers, people watchers.... All go, go, go.

A colourful place to visit so much to see and buy I bought a hand stitched round tablecloth and a sassy T-shirt. Quite unique. An afternoon well spent. On the downside getting a taxi back in the evening proved a nightmare.. Taxi drivers jacked up prices. I had to pay Rs 1500 for a Rs 600 ride.. got fleeced

It's a good place to visit. Lot of beautiful items are there to be bought from the market. It is also located near the Anjuna beach, so you will have two things to visit. The beach is also beautiful to watch.

Quite big market, good verity of products. Must bargain and maximum buying price half of their quoted price. People are good and safe place. Takes atleast 3 to 4hours on avg speed

Only on Wednesday! Every Wednesday! It's just so huge and distributed. We tried covering all Lanes and corners. Shops start closing by 5:30 or 6pm. You get everything here from clothes to bed sheets to lanterns and what not! There are some antique sections too. Prices are mostly affordable but you can bargain a lot more! Definitely recommend!
