The Thakurbari Temple is a Hindu temple located in Gangtok, in the heart of the town. It is one of the oldest Hindu temples in Sikkim built on land donated by the erstwhile Chogyal of Sikkim in 1935.

A beautiful temple, had literally all hindu Gods and Goddesses, one of the oldest Hindu temple in Sikkim. Was really amazed by the level of maintenance. If your are at MG Marg then this place must be visited. Really wonderful design work on the walls of the temple. At night with lighting it really looks amazing.....

Thakurbari is named after Lord Thakur jee is Lord Bishnu, the temple consist of Lord Bishnu and Lordess Laxmi, Radha Krishna, Ram Sita, Hanumam, Durga, Ganesh, Shiv panchayan, Lord Surya inagurated in the year 2020. The temple also consist one multi-purpose hall, one in-build stage and hall for Durga puja, Bishwakarma puja, Ganesh puja etc bhajan, kirtan, satsang or any religious programmes.

It is its own kind of temple and during dusshera very crowded but people loved it
