This is one of the greatest attractions in Gangtok and should not be missed. It's a double-cable zig back ropeway which is operational since December 2003. Each cable car can carry up to 24 passengers.

It was one hell of an experience. The top view of the city is more than just beautiful. It is a must do thing. I was spellbound. The best part is you can get this experience along with your friends/family being in the same box unlike other places where they provide individual rope way boxes. Also it is safe for kids too as it is completely packed.

It was hell of an experience and a must try to have a panoramic view of the beautiful city. It is very safe but at the same time a bit scary and can give you goosebumps. You will definitely be calling in love with the city. You can enjoy the ride along with frineds and family as it can carry maximum 24 person at a time. It closes at 4:30 PM. Price is Rs 117 for adults for a return journey.

A must visit place in Gangtok..... One can see entire Gangtok and surrounding areas..... Beautiful view..... The cost of the ropeway is reasonable..... 15-20 mins are more than enough to spend here..... There are food joints there also.....
