Trek To Triund Top!!! Trekking to Triund top was a wonderful experience. I went with my friends. We all completely fell in love with this place as it is so serene and beautiful. Trek was around 9KM , which will take 2 to 3 hours depends on speed and group. It was above average trek . View from Top was mesmerizing. It's like heaven. Amenities: Our camps were comfortable and safe. The meal provided to us was nice and HOT. You can buy Maggie, water in one local shop. Washroom was prepared, but use it only if you absolutely need it, otherwise there were ample empty hidden spaces. We went with local guide Shambhu who is very nice and help you in every way. We thoroughly enjoyed our night stay and returned next morning. Plan your weekend trip to Triund, when it is open usually starts from April.

Trek is moderate. Well maintained and restricted for some activities. Awesome view from top. Snow covered mountains can be enjoyed at winter season. Camping is available at top. Night stay at camps and lodges are available. Food stall are provided at mid way and at top. Need to carry and wear good trekking shoes with strong grip. Winter gear is required as per the season .

Nice place....Definitely visit when ever U visit Dharamshala... Winters are best time to visit. 7 km One way....So, when ever you plan, try planning for overnight stay....if not.....start in the morning.....and come down by the evening....we were lucky that we got to see the snow fall even with out season..... Keep your provisions with you and water bottles when ever you climb....try going in group....

If trekking is your thing, Triund should be in your bucket List! Must say, this place beholds the beauty of nature at its best. such an amazing trek with breathtaking views at every turn. Make sure that you spend a night there as the view from the top is beyond imagination especially the view of the sky full of stars. lastly, don't forget to keep water bottles and eateries with you and also maintain the cleanliness around.

Good trek, not for unfit people. Also, don't try to do it without a guide if you are taking the waterfall route, it's dangerous and one can easily get lost. Definitely worth the view once you reach the top.
