Description
Located next to the famous Tsuglagkhang Temple, the Kalachakra Temple is open to the public as the center for pilgrimage. The murals and architecture of the temple represent Tibet’s rich spiritual and artistic ethnicity. Dalai Lamas use the temple as the center for public teaching. The temple is dedicated to the Kalachakra. The temple features fresco decorations of 722 deities of the mandala, Shakayamuni Buddha, and the central Kalachakra image. The walls and columns of the temple feature different traditional Tibetan Thangka paintings. There is also a book shop and small cafe within the temple complex. It is one of the most popular sacred sites in Dharamshala.

Good to see such traditional place in India which shows the deepness of traditional heritage of India .expect the place to be more clean and the wires should be drawn under earth than connecting through post.

This temple is right in the middle of main market in McLeod Ganj. Its a buddhist temple and can be easily accessed by walk. The temple itself is quite beautiful and seems pretty well maintained.
